As a company listed on AIM, Portmeirion Group is not required to adhere to the UK Corporate Governance Code September 2016. The Company has regard to the Code as best practice guidance and has sought to comply with a number of its provisions in so far as it considers them to be appropriate to a company of its size. Portmeirion Group Plc has been made aware that certain shareholders have been approached by an organisation offering to buy shares in the Company at a much higher price than their current market value. Investors may have been asked by this organisation to pay in advance for a bond in order to secure the sale of their shares. The Company believes this may be an advanced fee fraud.
